The pillow drowned out the banging for a bit, then Laras phone went off.

"For suck sake"
She looked at it
It was Jack
She answered it
"Hello?'
"Hiya Lara, i know you're not starting til next week but, fancy being shown round HQ and maybe torchwood?"
"Yeah alright.."She paused "Can i get changed at yours?"
"Er..."Jack got a bit nervous "Erm, sure"
"Alright be round in a bit"
Lara packed some things and teleported to Jacks room
He was already dressed in his same uniform, Trousers, and blue shirt.
"This is a bit unexpected"Jack said making himself a tea
"Yeah, i didnt want to go into the bathroom hearing shagging noises. Are you sure this is ok?"Lara asked
"Its fine dont worry, bathroom is through there"He pointed "And towels are in the cupboard"
"Thanks"


Lara walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind her.
She couldnt believe the size of the shower room. It was big enough to fit 20 people in it. He had a Jaccuzzi, massive bathtub and a shower.


While Lara was in the shower, Jack thought he would both make them breakfast.

Meanwhile..
"Im so knackered"The doctor gasped
"Again! Again!"Kate said getting on top of him
"No kate, we've done it 4 times. If i do it again i think my hearts will stop"He said
"Alright"She said snuggling up to him
"Where Lara? Shes gone quiet"
Kate got up and walked into Laras room
"She isnt here, must be at Jacks or something"She said going back to bed



Lara got out of the shower, dressed in her casual clothes and a towel wrapped round her hair.
"Oh you're uniform is at HQ"Jack said frying some bacon
"Already? Thats quick!"Lara said ruffling her hair
"Yeah, they must of made their decision as soon as i phoned the Captain"
"Thank you for that by the way"Lara said giving him a peck on the cheek
"No problem"He smiled


Later on they went to HQ were it was a massive underground control room with 7 people in it
"This is HQ. This is my team, and also yours now."Jack said as they went down in the lift "The screens tell us of any nearby alien activity, emergancy calls from torchwood and any other unexplained goings on. "

The lift got to the ground
"We have several weaponary that we always take out, and we also have up-to-date gadgets for you"Jack said

"Morning Jack"A woman smiled at him
"Morning"Jack said back "This is Lara, the new time agent"
"Hiya"Lara smiled
"This is gwen, shes our weapon and alien expert"Jack said "Any doubts when im not here, which is rarely, go to gwen"
Jack carried on walking past computers and alsorts and headed for the gadget room


meanwhile..
The Doctor was showing Kate the Tardis
"This one used to camoflage the tardis but is broke, its impossible to fix aswell"He said ruffling his hair
"Oooo what does this do?"Kate said pointing to a button
"Dont touch that, that recharges the time vortex which we dont need to do"
"Oh I knew that.."
"And, the last bit of the tardis is just the main area, the kitchen, living room..bedroom wich youve seen" He cant help but grin to himself "And..bathroom etc." He ruffles his hair.
"Why do you always do that" Katie asks.
"Do what?"
"Ruffle your hair, I want a go" SHe reaches over and messes up his hair.
"I dont do it that hard!" He laughs.
"Ye you do anyway.." She looks down "Have you got a bone on again!" She shouts.
"What" He covers it.
"Your one of them men aint you, the type that really really really like sex deep inside and always get horny but never like to show it." She walks up to him and touches his shoulder. "Dont worry, youve got me now, I dont care.." She smiles.
He looks at her.
"Can I get a shower anyway" She asks. Deep down he was wanting something else after that quistion..
"Yes sure" 'as long as I can join' He thought. Bloody hell she was right.
"Cool and dont bother coming in, ive had enough sex for one day" She says walking off.

He sighs, bloody hell what was he letting himself into, whatever it was it was going to involve a lot of physical attention..but he wasnt complaning. He sighed and stood there with his hand in his pockets. What to do..what to do..He looked around.

"So thats basically what makes Torchwood..Torchwood" Jack smiles at Lara.
"Cool, so i start..next tuesday?"
"Yes" He nods.
"Cant wait" She smiles. She really just wanted to pounce on him there and then..
"Oh and this is your uniform, nothing special"Jack says walking over to a table with a black bag
Lara looked in the bag
"Its not bad actually"
She dragged out a pair a black trousers a coat and a red shirt
"You dont have to wear it though"Jack said "I kinda customised mine"
"Hmm, i might look what i've got in my wardrobe"
Nice skimy top, Lara thought, just to really tease Jack.
"Right im gonna go home and relax"Lara said adjusting her time watch
"Ok, i got to get back to work anyway"Jack said "Ill see you later"
"yeah.."
Lara was waiting for him to kiss her but you could see the awkardness in his face. Probably cause they were standing in front of a couple of people
"Cya"Lara waved
"Cya"Jack waved back smiling


The doctor wondered round the tardis thinking what to do
"God im bored"He sighed
He walked over to the shower room where Katie was and tried opening the door quietly. It was locked
"The sonic screwdriver can come in handy sometimes"He said getting it out of his pocket
He pointed it at the door
"Dont even think about it"Kate said

He walked off again
He walked back into the main room of the tardis
He switched the video link on and phoned Jack
"Hello?"Jack answered
"Alright? Just a bit bored, what you up to?"
"Just at Torchwood at the moment"
"Wheres Lara?"
"Shes gone back home. I just showed her round the place, why dont you come down?"
"I cant, you know how much torchwood hate me"The Doctor said
"They'll be fine with you"
"Remember last time? They wouldnt let me back into my Tardis cause it held some sort of key to alien life"
"Yeah, i did that for a laugh"Jack laughed
"Oh thanks"
"You coming then" Jack asks.
"Oh go on then" He says
"Ok see ya soon, ill be in my office" He then hangs up.
He stands there. Should he tell Katie hes going? Nah would be more fun to leave her. He smiled to himself and strolled out the tardis.

10 minutes later..
"Doctor.." Katie peered out the bathroom.
"Doctor?!!?" She shouted.
"Oh my god! Im gunna kill him." She then thought "Oo now heres my chance to go through his drawers" She toddled off.

The Doctor walked into Jack's office.
"Your supposed to knock" He then looked up "Ah Doctor.."
"Hey, jesus its so boring in there" The Doctor moans
"Youve got Katie"
"Ye well its a bit hard when shes in the shower and wont even let me come in" He sighed.
"Just go in"
"Why"
"I dunno" He shrugs "Its just funny when they try and cover themselves up and then they realise..they dont care and then so on.." He laughs. "Anyway how are things with you and Katie"
"Fine ye..very good infact..very very good" He says.
"Youve shagged her havnt you" Jack says.
"Yes" He smiles.
"Randy bastard"
"Oi! I bet you wouldnt miss out on the chance of doing Lara!"
"True but I cant, shes a work collegue"
"That didnt stop you when you kissed her!"
"Ye well..ok I wouldnt miss the chance but.."
"But..see you love it just as much as me!"
"Shut up and help me with this paperwork" Jack laughs.

Lara walked in her room, no one was in. She sighed and wondered where Katie would be..the tardis..
She walked towards the tardis and knocked on.
Katie opened in a towel.
"Hey!!"
"Hey.."
"Come in"
"Wheres The Doctor" Lara asks.
"Dunno, just went and left me.." She paused "Listen sorry for the other night I didnt mean what I said.."
"I know, you always say shit like that when your drink, im used to it"
