The door then goes.
"Fuck sake.." Katie sighs standing up. She walks to the door, Lara walks straight in with bags
"Err..ye?" Kate says.
"Wheres The Doctor" She looks around.
"In bed..why"
She barges past Kate and walks into the bedroom.
"Lara!" The Doctor covers himself up, he looks at the bags. "Oh no.."
"Look, can I stay here for a bit, me and Jack need a break"
"Erm..bit sudden but yes I suppose.." He scratches his head.
"Thanks..ill get the spare room" She rushes off.
Kate walks into the bedroom "What the hell was that about?"
"Lara's staying for a bit-"
"What!"
"No before you start its only for a bit.."
"She hates me for what ive done!"
"Just..keep out of eachothers way then"
"Argh fuck sake Doctor!" She walks out.
The Doctor sighs and climbs out of bed.

He walks into the spare room.
"How long do you wanna stay for?"He asked leaning on the door frame
"How long am i allowed to stay here for?"Lara asked sitting on her bed
"Well as long as you like..but not forever"He smiled
"I think only a week or two will do me, is that ok?"She asked
"Thats fine, um what about Katie though?"
"What about her?"Lara said unzipping her bag
"Like, you know.."
"Oh well, we're gonna have to get on arent we? Its like ive still gotta go work with Jack there"
"True, alright, do you want a drink?"
"Nah thanks, im just gonna unpack my stuff then go off to work"
"Ok.."

He walked over to were Katie was sat
"Whats wrong?"
"Lara is here, i cant just pretend like nothings happened"
"Well try to pretend, too right you should be feeling bad for what you did, imgaine how you would feel if i kissed Lara"
"Well you havent have you?"
"No.."He looked away
"You have"She said standing up
"Yeah but in the early days, it was just a quick kiss, nothing more"
"Thats alright then"She said sitting back down..

"Going work, see you guys later"Lara said walking past them both


At Torchwood..

"Ianto, i need some files examined in the mystery pile, i need the cases of the missing children and the case of the missing ressirection glove"Jack said
"Lara already sorted them out sir"Ianto said
"Oh did she, well can you get them out so i can look over them"
"Yeah ok"
The main door then opened and Lara walked in looking down at the floor. Trying not to notice Jack.
"Morning Lara"Tosh greeted her
"Morning"Lara smiled

Lara went straight to her desk which was right opposite Jacks office.
She walked up the stairs not noticing Jack watching her everymove.
She opened the door and walked towards her chair and slumped in it.
"God this day is gonna take forever"She sighed
Owen then walked in
"We might need your help to do a body scan later"
"Do i have to?"
"Yes"Owen smiled
"Ill do it now then, cause i wanna relax, i didnt get much sleep last night"She said walking down with Owen
"You stressed"Owen asked
"Just a bit"She said glancing up at Jack staring at her
He then looked at the files in his hands

She walked into the lab and set up the scanner
"Hang on, we need Jack here"Owen said
She sighed

Owen ran out and got him. This felt really tense now.
Lara set up the machine
"Ok right.."
"Hang on, you havent put the pin in yet"Jack said leaning over to the machine
"Oh yeah forgot.."She said
"Done, right go"He said standing by the side of Lara

Owen turned it on and it began scanning, whilst he was writing down results Jack could start smelling Laras perfume. It was like an instant turn on smelling that. He knew they were on a break but Time Agents are so sexually charged the smallest thing could turn them on.. He tried to get closer without her noticing to smell more of her (fart lmao) perfume. Lara could sense him getting closer, this always happened when she put a sex ban on him.
"Ok done"Owen said
Lara then walked off quickly into her office.
Owen turned off the machine
"Shes ina rush"Owen said looking at his paper still
"Got work to do"Jack said turning around to walk out
"Um Jack.."Owen said
"What?"
"You..might just wanna cover that up"He said pointing to him with his pen
Jack looked down at his trousers
"Oh sorry..."He said grabbing a hygienic apron


Later on that day after Jack had finished reading the files he needed to cover it over with Lara but he knew she wouldnt talk to him. But he tried anyway..
He knocked on her door..
"Come in"She said writing something..
She looked up at Jack standing there...This took her back to when they started going out. She suddenly felt charged but had to control it.
"I need to go over these files with you."He said
"Alright.."Lara said
He sat down and opened the first page. He started getting the smell of her perfume back...this meeting wasnt gonna go too well..
"I've notice you actually got the missing childrens date of birth, how did you get that?"Jack asked trying to be professional
"Um, i got some information from a source"
"What source was that, do you still have their details as they might be able to give us some more info?"
"Yeah i do, back at your flat.."Lara said
"Oh were abouts?"
"Its in the drawer in the lounge"
"Which one, you'll have to show me, i dont go home very often.."


Meanwhile..
"Doctor how am i supposed to be myself when shes sleeping next door?"Katie asked
"What do you mean?"He says reading the bible (lmao)
"I mean i cant be stupid, cause shes a superior officer and i cant shag you cause you make too much noise"
"We'll just have to do it when shes out then"He said still reading
"Wel.."Katie said
"What?"

Meanwhile..outside Jacks flat
"Um i havent got a key to your.."Lara stammered
"Here"He opened it.
They walked in and she walked straight to the chest of draws in his living room. She bent down and opened it and got a peice of paper with the number on

Before she could finish her sentance Jack had already pounced on her. He kissed her so roughly and placed her onto the chest of draws. He was eager to have her there and then

Back the Torchwood headquaters
"Wheres Jack?"Gwen asked
"Not sure"Ianto said

After 3 hours...
"Jack,, that was great an all but we're on a break, it hasnt even been 12 hours since ive annouced that"She said leaning back on the wall
"I know, but i couldnt help it"He said
"We need to have a break, i mean it"She smiled
"Alright, ill try my hardest"
"I mean it Jack..I just dont trust you and its gunna take me a while to build up that trust again"
"I understand..what I did was wrong" He looks down.
Lara kisses him on the cheek and walks off.
Jack sighs..

"You sound like a crying cat when you shag" Kate says lieng next to him.

Then the door to the tardis opened.

Lara then walks in
"Hey-" Lara then looks at The Doctor and the bump in the covers.
"I dont..wanna know" She walks back out.

Jack sat in his chair and twiddled his thumbs. He was so bored and he was missing Lara..
He felt so stupid, he kicked the table away and got into bed.

"Doctor.." Kate shouts from the bedroom.
"What" He says reading the bible (lmao that was gd tha)
"Why do you read the bible" Lara pulls a face.
"Because..Kate ripped up all my alien monthly magazines.." He puts the book down "What!"
"You got any beer in!" She shouts.

"Puff.." Kate walks in and sits next to The Doctor.
Lara stares at Katie
"Um...ill go do some shopping"Katie said getting up

"So how was work today?"The Doctor asked as he turned the page of the oh so holy bible (lmao)
"It was...alright"
"Did you two talk?"He said looking up
"Not really"
He then put the bible on his lap
"He got his way didnt he?"
Lara nodded
The Doctor sighed
"Look, a break means a break, Jack needs to understand that, and so do you. I know you're both Time Agents and their very well known to have, massive sexual urges but you gotta just think of something else"The Doctor said
"I know, i just couldnt help it, Jack just leapt on me"
"Well i can have a talk with him if you want?"
"No its ok, ill just have to get a stress ball or something"She said looking around the room "Is kate afraid of me or something?"
"Kinda"He said looking at the bible again "She thinks you're gonna hit her or something"
"I wouldnt do that, im angry but not that angry, if she apologised to my face then maybe i would be better about it"Lara shrugged
"Ill see what i can do"The Doctor said
"Thanks"Lara said kissing his cheek
The Doctor smiled

Lara then walked off to her room

Back at Jacks flat..
Jack couldnt drift off to sleep, all he has in his mind was Lara. This was gonna drive him mad, why cant they just make up? His mobile then rang.He picked it up thinking it was Lara
No, it was Tosh..
"What?"
"Jack we need you here, Owen needs some help on a biopsy"
"Cant it wait?"
"No, we just had reports of several killings in the area, and we found this body, inhibted by alien lifeform"
Jack sighed
"Alright ill be down there in a min"


At Co-op...(lmao)
"I want decent booze, not shitty fairtrade crap"Kate said walking around with a trolley full of shit..
Kate kept pushing past loadsa people to get to the sweets isle

3 days later..
Lara got home from work early not feeling well.
"God you look like death"The Doctor said looking up from his muslim bible (pmsl)
"I really dont feel well, Ianto sent me home"She said clutching her stomach
The Doctor got up and helped her to her room
"You havent eaten anything off, or something?"He said helping her to her bed
"No, ive eaten loads today but its mainly been pizza, bread and chocolate"
"Maybe you're just stressed from this whole break thing"The Doctor said sitting beside her
"Yeah"
"Ill go make you a drink"He said getting up
The pain was getting worse, she felt really sick
She got up and walked into the control room
"Im gonna go get a few things"She said to the Doctor
"Are you sure? Do you want me to come with?"
Lara sat on the floor and threw up
The Doctor didnt look too pleased
"Look, Lara go to bed and make a list of what you need and ill get it"He said lifting her up "Ill get Kate to look after you"
He sat her on her bed and gave her a pen and paper. Lara wrote down a few things. Only about 3 items.
She handed it over to the Doctor and he looked down at it:
Water
Paracetmol
Pregnancy test
His eyes widened. He better be quick..
"Kate!"He shouted
"What!"
"Come look after Lara!"
"But-"
"Do it!"


"Ill be back in a minute"The Doctor said

He then ran out as fast as he could
Kate then walked in to Laras room
"God you dont look too well. You better get into bed"She said
Lara lifted up the covers and tucked herself in
"Do you need anything?"
"Just a bowl incase i throw up again"Lara said
"Ok..."
Kate paused
"Look im sorry about what happened between us. It was a mistake and-"
"Dont worry, thats all i needed was an apology"Lara said quietly
Kate smiled
(They then snogged lmao)

Kate then walked out to get a bowl..

The Doctor ran round the isles as fast as he could. He picked up the three items, payed for them and got back to the tardis
He ran into Laras room
He was took by surprise to see Kate and Lara(snogging lol) in the same room
"Um...heres your items Lara"He said handing them over

Lara quickly hid the pregnancy test up her sleeve and got up
"Just need to pee"She said


Back at Torchwood
"Wheres Lara?"Jack asked
"She went home ill"Ianto said "I sent her home, she wasnt looking too well"
Jack became worried thinking it was something serious, without Lara around he couldnt help her
"Its just a bug i think"Ianto said


2 Hours later..
Lara was sat in her room staring at the test..
Kate walked in
"Lara you ok?"
Lara looked up. Neither happy or sad.
Kate sat beside her...
Positive..
"I cant believe this"Lara said "Im pregnant again!"
"Well it cant be that bad, how do you feel?"
"Im not sure, i dont know what to say without Jack"She said
"Dont you think you should tell him then?"
Lara nodded


"Ok team, pack up and go home" Jack said
Lara then walked into the hub. Everyone stared at her pale face. Lara looked striaght at Jack
Jack walked towards her
"I know we're on a break but-"
She placed her finger on his lips
"I need to talk to you"

They went up to Jacks office..Jack sat down on his desk and Lara sat on a chair by him.
"I...found out something today"Lara said fiddling with something in her hand
"What?"He said scared of what she was about to say. Was she going to tell him she was leaving him? Leaving Torchwood? Leaving earth?
She handed him over the white stick she had been fiddling with
He looked at it..He then looked at her
"What do you think?"Lara asked
"Well, im happy but, its your body"He said "This isnt a joke is it?"
Lara shook her head
She took his hand
"I think we should keep this one"She said looking into his eyes
Suddenly Jack felt something he had never felt before. His heart jumped at everybeat. He was extremly happy that he was going to be a dad, but he was also happy Lara still wanted him.

They then leaned in and softly kissed each other
"Im sorry"He said
"I know. But thats behind us now"Lara said
Lara then stood up and Jack embraced her with a hug
His eyes filled with tears and he silently cried whilst holding Lara
"Im really sorry for what i did. I didnt mean to hurt you"He said sniffing back the tears. "You mean alot to me now, both of you do"
"You mean alot to me too"Lara said


Lara then got back to the Tardis and headed striaght to her room.
She sat on her bed. Kate walked in and sat beside her
"So?"Kate asked
"We're going to keep it"Lara said
Kate hugged her
"I heard the news"The Doctor peeked in "And i think god wants you to have this one"
"Right no more bible for you!"Kate said


12 hours later...
Lara walked into work as normal and walked up to her office with a note on her desk.She put her bags down and picked it up
"To my gorgeous Babe, you know im incredibly sorry for what ive done to you in the past and i just want you to know that i love you with all my heart. Kate chucks the bible in the fire.

KAte knocks on Jack's flat. No answer..she continues to knock.

The Doctor was sat there reading and praying, Kate walked in dressed in a uniform.
The Doctor looks up and instintly drops the bible.

The Doctor looks at him.

The doctor makes his way home.
Kate ignores him as he walks in.
The Doctor stands in front of her with his arms folded.
Kate looks up "Ye?"

"I cant believe your pregnant though aww can you call it Kate" Kate says sitting in the tardis with Lara.

The Doctor then walks in and callopses on the sofa.

The Doctor was in Asda doing some shopping (lmao)
"Hmm..lasagne? What the hell.." He shoves it in the trolley.

"Right are you gunna listen or do you wanna do it on your own, im not supposed to be helping you anyway" Lara says.
"I cant be arsed Lara.."
"Fine dont be arsed, I dont care weather you pass or not, hand it in to Jack like that" Lara storms off.
"Oooo mardy arse, I will then, I think ive done quite well" She looks at the 3 sentances she wrote.

"Nobbys nuts!" The Doctor shouts out loud pulling a face, everyone looks at him. He puts them back. "God how do humans do this.." He sighs.

"Here!" Katie slams the assignment on Jack's desk. He looks up.
"Erm..thanks?"
"Its my assignment"
"Oh great thanks" He looks through it and looks at her. "Its half done.."
"Erm..blame Lara"
"Why?"
"I dunno..she helped me"

"You didnt just say that Kate.." Jack sighs.
"Erm I think you'll find I just did"
"That is against the rules Kate you can't have any help on these assignments especially by a higher member!"

Jack stands up "Look im not having a discussion about this Kate just go.."

Jack looks at her, his eyes start to wonder.

"Jack just give me an answer are you gunna suspend me or not?"
Jack leans in towards her and plants a kiss softly on her lips, the kiss getting deeper (mwaha)
They both pull away.
Kate looks at him "What about Lara.."
"She wont know" He continues to kiss her.
"Oh fucking hell.." She gasps into his mouth.
Then the door bursts open. Gwen stands there staring.
"Shit" Jack quickly lets go.
Gwen smirks and walks back out.
"No Gwen!" Jack runs to the door, but she was gone.
Katie looks at him "Your so stupid!"

"Fucking keeping the door open, now Gwens gunna tell Lara or The Doctor..my lifes over oh god" Katie shouts.
"Kate, Kate calm down..ill find her.."
"Why did we do it anyway! Not like I have any feelings for you I love The Doctor!"

"You best sort this out, its your fault" Kate points and walks out.

Jack sighs and rests his head on the wall..what had he done. He put away all his paperwork and went out looking for Gwen.

Katie walked into the tardis, the doctor looked up at her.
"Hey you.." He smiles.
"Hey.." She sits down.
"You alright?" He puts his magazine down.
"Fine.." She sits on the sofa.
The Doctor stands behind her and puts his hands on her shoulders.
Katie pulls away.
"Whats up?" He says looking at her.
"Nothing im just..not in the mood"
"Right..ok" He sits back down.
"No im sorry..just ignore me" She stands up "Just tired think I need some sleep.." SHe walks off to the bedroom.

Jack runs around looking for gwen. He bumps into Lara.
"Lara" He looks at her startled.
"Hey..what you rushing about for" She says.
"Erm..you havnt seen Gwen have you?"
"Ye shes in the operating room..why?"
"Just need to talk to her about something" He kisses her on the head "See ya later" He runs off.
Lara watches him run off "Freak.." She carrys on walking.

The Doctor walks into the bedroom and strips off to his boxers. He climbs into bed. Katie turns over.
"Doctor.."
"Ye?"
"You know I love you.." She says.
"Of course"
"And no matter what mistakes I make..whatever we have to go through..ill always love you?"
"What have you done.."
"Nothing, just wanted you to know that" She says.
"Katie if youve done something...tell me" He looks at her.
"I havnt!"
"Right.."

"Gwen!" Jack runs up to her.
Gwen smiles to herself putting the files away.
"Gwen..what you saw.."
"I know exactly what I saw" She turns to him.
"You cant tell anyone.."
"Ok" She smiles and walks off she then turns backs round "Oh and thanks for inviting me round tomorrow!" She shouts
"What! I didnt"
"No but Lara did.." She walks off.
"Shit" He bangs his head on the wall...this was gunna all go wrong..

Everyone was packing away to go home, Jack waited for lara outside her office.
She walked out with her bag "Oh hello" She smiles.
"Hey..erm can I ask why you invited Gwen round tomorrow?"
"Well its our day off, thought we could have The Doctor and Kate round aswell, few drinks.." She says.
"Why gwen though?"
"Why not Gwen? Shes helped me alot you know"
"Oh..forget it..lets just go home" He says.

The next day..
"Kate wake up" The Doctor shakes her.
"Why.." She murmers.
"Were going Jack and Lara's"
"Why.."
"Theyve invited us round for few drinks later"
"Whos gunna be there.."
"Just us four and Gwen I think.."
Katie opens her eyes suddenly. "Gwen.." She gulps.
"Ye Gwen.."
Kate sighs.."Ill be up in a minute" She says.
The Doctor walks out.
This wasnt good..
She reaches for her phone and calls Jack.
"Hello?"
"Jack why the fuck have you invited that sheep shagger round!"
"I didnt! Lara did"
"Oh no..I cant come..shes gunna say something.."
"She wont..ill make sure of it, just turn up, for Lara please.."
Kate sighs "Fine but I swear if she says anything im gunna knock her from here to next week" Kate hangs up and starts getting changed.

The afternoon came and Gwen was already at Lara's. They were chatting while Jack was sat in the arm chair cracking his knuckles.
"Jack whats up with you!" Lara says "Your so..quite"
"Ye Jack whats up" Gwen says.
The Doctor and Kate then walk in.
"Dont leave me Doctor.." Katie grabs hold of him.
The Doctor looks at her and sits down.
They all sit there quite.
"Fucking hell..too much tention in this room im going getting the drinks" Lara walks off.
Kate and Jack both look at eachother.
"So Doctor..how you and Kate going.."
"Ye were good.." He nods.
Gwen smiles.

A couple of hours later it started livening up a bit. But Kate and Jack still couldnt rest.
Gwen shot a stare at Kate. She stands up.
"Right I swear Gwen if you carry on im going to wipe taht smirk off your face I swear.." Kate says.
"Kate!" Lara shouts.
"No its ok..its just guilt" She smiles.
Kate looks at her.
"Guilt?" Lara laughs.
"Right thats enough now" Jack says
"No Jack..I think they have a right to know" Gwen says.
Lara looks at Gwen serously "Know what.."
The Doctor just sits there quitly.
"Gwen enough!!" Jack shouts gritting his teeth.
"Jack whats she on about" Lara looks at him.
Jack looks down..
"Might aswell tell her..just havnt changed your ways have you Jack..and kate..guess The Doctor wasnt enough for you"
The Doctor looks at Kate.
"Remember..that kiss you shared..god knows what would of happened if I didnt come in.."
Everyone gasps.
The Doctor looks at Jack..furisouly.
"Doctor really it was nothing"
"Fucking bastard" He punches him in the face knocking him to the ground "You know how much I love her!!" He kicks him in the chest.
"Doctor stop it!!" Kate crys.
Lara runs off into the toilet, gwen swifly leaves.
Katie grabs hold of The Doctor. He pushes her out of the way.
"Doctor stop!!!" Kate screams "Your hurting him"
The Doctor stops and looks at Kate.
"I thought you loved me.."
"It was a kiss! It didnt mean anything! I still love you"
"I should've known.."
"Please Doctor.."
Jack slowly lifts himself up. "I deserved that.." He murmers. "Wheres lara?" He looks around him.
"She ran to the toilet.." Katie says

Jack opens the door to the toilet and looks at Lara.
"Get away from me..I should've listened to gwen.."
"Lara..it was nothing serously"
"Nothing!! You fucking kissed her! And were caught, come on Jack, if Gwen didnt come in you would of gone further.."
He looks at her.
"Got nothing to say now have you..not even a fucking sorry not that that would do any good, why did I fall in love with you Jack..looks like it was a mistake..a big one" She wipes her eyes.

"Doctor say something.." Kate says, she watches The Doctor stare at the wall on his chair with his fists clenched.
She walks towards him "Doctor.." She places her hand on his shoulder
"Dont touch me!" He shouts and pushes her out the way. She hits the floor.
She looks at him.
"Dont look at me like that.." He says.
"I fucking love you and you dont even realise it!" She stands up "Your the one that changed my life, turned my life around without you..I dunno what ill do"
"Well why go and kiss your fucking boss then!"
"I dont know! He started it! I was just handing in my assignment and he just said I look different and then..ye.." She looks down.
"I just wish I could trust you.."
"You can! You know you can, I trust you.."
"Ye well I dont go round kissing other people do I"
"It was one thing! It didnt mean anything, think of all the kisses weve had, all the..good times, all the laughs weve been through it all...now that means something"
He looks down and back up at Kate, he walks towards her and holds her head and moves his mouths towards her.
"Doctor.." She mumbles and pushes away "What you doing"
"You mean it all dont you.."
"Mean all what?"
"I really have changed your life.."
"Doctor..tell me what the fuck your doing"
"Your memories..such a..horrible past"
She pushes him away and moves back. "What?"
"Ive read your mind Kate..you hide so much.."
"Maybe I just dont like talking about my past.."
JAck and Lara then come out. Looking ruff.
"Erm?" Katie looks at them. "You made up then.."
"Erm ye you can say that.." Jack scratches his head.
"Dirty bastards! Why cant we do that to make up" Katie looks at The Doctor.
The Doctor smirks.
"Anyway we can see your trying to sort things out..we'll just get out your way" They both walk out.
"Lara's never gunna forgive me is she, did ya see the look she gave me" Kate says.

"Jack.." Lara stops him.
"Ye?"
"Your not gunna like what im about to say.."
He looks at her.
"I just think..I need some time, you hurt me you know Jack and I need some time to build the trust back up.."
"But.."
"Jack your not gunna make me change my mind..we just need some space..im gunna ask The Doctor if I can stay with him for a bit"
"This aint some sort of pay back is it, shaggin The Doctor.
"Jack..im not like you, I dont get kicks out of kissing other people..sorry" She softly kisses him on the cheek. She walks off.
Jack stands there..he couldnt believe it..

The Doctor and Kate were lieing in bed..
Kate was staring at the cieling.
"You dont have to hide anything from me you know..if theres something wrong you can talk to me" He looks at her.
"I know" She nods.
"I dont think you do though, I do have emotioins you know, I can be good to talk to" He smiles.
"I know"

Meanwhile..

"Jack Gwens been attacked by some alien"Tosh says speaking in his ear peice
"Alright, im outside the hub now, ill be down in a few secs"Jack said

Gwen was moaning in pain, she had been scratched by something.
"What attacked you?"
"It was some sort of monster, with red eyes and long nails. He was human but looked different"

"I followed his steps by logging into the cctv, he changed into something else"Tosh said
"Its a shape shifter"Jack said "So glad it didnt bite you"Jack said to gwen
"Its only a minor cut"Owen said patching her up
"Shut up, its not"Gwen said

"Jack we've got another disturbance"Tosh said "The alien is heading for a bunch of flats"
"Thats were mine is.."He said looking at the screen "And thats were Lara is!"Jack said running off
"Jack we need guns!"Owen said



Back at Jacks flat..

Lara was wondering around in Jacks dressing gown depressed...and empty..
She started making a cup of tea and got a knock at the door
She walked slowly towards the door and opened..
"Hiya!"Katie stood there
"Hi"
"Ooo ill have a cuppa"She said sitting on the sofa
Lara sighed and closed the door..
There was another knock
"Oh for.."
Lara opened it and gwen stood there
"What do you want?"
"Oh nothing.."

She walked in
"Why are you here?'
Gwen then turned around to reveal red eyes and rotten fangs
"Shit!"Lara said
Gwen leaped for her and bit her on the neck
"Argh! Katie! Gun!"
"Where?"
"Table!!!!!1"
Katie then reached for it and before she could shoot, a gun shot came from nowhere..Jack had shot the monster in the head..

"Jesus"Katie said
Lara then held onto her neck
"Jack.."She said
"Owen, we need you up here now, Laras been bitten on her neck"Jack said into his earpeice
"Ok be right there"

Jack nelt down by Lara and gave her a hankey.
"Use this"
Lara put it on her wound and held it. Jack placed his hand over hers to try and stop the blood flow
"What was that?"Katie asked
"A nostrovitron"Jack said
"A norororororor-what?"
"It feeds on human flesh"Jack said

In no time owen, tosh, gwen and ianto had gone to Jacks flat
"Is it bad?"Owen said kneeling down by Lara and Jack
"Yes"Jack said
Jack took the hankey off to reveal a massive bite wound and blood spirting out
"Oh my god"Katie said
"Right we're gonna need to operate on you now"Owen said

He gave Lara some anasethic just to numb the pain. He cleaned the wound and stitched it up.
"That should do it"He said also putting a bandage on it
"Thanks"Lara whispered
"All the bad things manage to happen to her"Katie said
"Katie.."Jack said
"Well its true. Im gonna go back to the doctor im bored"

"She just needs rest now Jack. We'll take the body back and examin it"Owen said
"Sure..ill help"Jack said
"Stay here with Lara"Owen said
"Ok..well if you need anything then buzz me"

Lara then blacked out..


She woke up 7 hours later in Jacks bed. For a minute she had forgotten what happened.
She then sat up too quickly and felt the pain in her neck. Now she remembered what happened
She then slowly got up and stretched a bit. She was in Jacks pjs. She looked at the mirror oposite her. Blue stripey pjs...nice...then..
"Oh fuck..."
She looked down at her belly and it had blown up, it was like she was pregnant..
"How...what...?"Lara questioned the bump
SHe ran her hands over it and it was solid, it was like something was actually in there..
"Jack!"She called

Jack came in..
"What?"
"We have a problem"Lara said turning around..



Meanwhile...
"You should of seen this monster"Katie was saying to the doctor
"Yeah you keep saying"He said reading his magazine...aliensmonthly pmsl..
"It was like a zombie or something..proper bit Lara"




"You're pregnant?!"Jack said looking at her bump
"I cant be!"
"It must of been that bite"He said stroking her stomach
"Am i gonna die?"SHe asked
"Look, lets not jump to conclusions, lets get you down to HQ and see what the scanner shows"


Little did they know, not too far away from the flat was another nostrovite. It was waiting for the perfect moment when the baby inside Lara was ready. It then would rip it out of Laras stomach..



At HQ

Jack and Lara then walked in
"Just in time Jack"Owen said runinng over "The nostrovite is a shape shifter....WHat the?"He said loking at Laras stomach
"Yeah...we thinks it the bite, we need to scan her now"Jack said
Owen then went back to the lab and got a portable scanner out
"Right just stay still"He said pointing the scanner at her
He pressed several buttons and got a result..
"Yeah, its definatly alien.."
"Surely this cant be healthy"Lara paused "I had a miscarriage 2 days ago and now im pregnant again...with an alien! Im gonna die"Lara starting crying
"Look Lara, if it was any danger, you would of been dead by now"Owen said "Now we just need to get rid of it"Owen said
Jack hugged Lara as she cried
"But shell be off of her feet for a while"Owen said
"How long for?"Lara turneed around
"About 6 days"
"Are you kiddin? Im meant to go geta bravery award in 2 days, i cant miss that"Lara said
"You're gonna have to."Jack said
Lara pushed back
"I need to be there for that award. Otherwise i wont get it. Even if i still have this bump im gonna go"
"Lara you cant.."Owen said "That thing that bit you was the father of that baby, and it wont be long until the mother will be after it"
"So i am gonna die then?!"
"Well..it depends, cause you're not gonna give birth to that...something is coming for it Lara, and its not gonna be pretty"Owen said "And because its a shape shifter it could be anywhere"
"This sounds so stupid"Lara said walking off
"Lara.."Owen called after her
"Look, just give her a rest, after that award we will get rid of it" Jack said
"But Jack, that thing could be after her now!"Owen said



"Lets shag"Katie said sitting on the doctor
"I want to recover from the last time we did it"The Doctor said
"It was like 2 hours ago, come on"She said
"No, Katie let me relax"
Katie then got off and walked around the Tardis
"IM SO BORED!"She shouted



Lara got back to her flat and cried. She sat on her bed...This thing inside her WAS going to kill her one way or another. She then heard a door slam..
She looked up
"Jack?"She called out
She got up and walked into the lounge. Jack was stood there
"Look Jack theres no point in trying to persuade me to get it done now"
"I know.."He said turning around "Im just here to comfort you.."

Lara went back into her bedroom and looked at the bump.. Jack walked behind her
"You'll be fine...honest"He said moving her hair from her neck and kissing it "You know i love you"He said seductivly "I wouldnt push you to do anything"He said kissing her wound
"That hurt"She said turning around smiling
"Im here to look after you, you trust me"He smiled
"I do, i love you jack. You're everything to me, i dont ever want to be apart from you"
"You wont"He said leaning in to kiss her
He then growled..
His eyes turned read and he had then horrible fangs
Lara screamed
SHe quickly dived for her pillow and reached underneath it..
The monster turned her over and Lara held a gun to his face..
"Fuck you!"SHe then shot him in the eye...
He collsped ontop of her..
She then struggled to get from underneath him..
He then awoke again
:Fuck!"Lara screamed
SHe pushed him off and got up and shot him in the stomach several times. He then ran out of her window
Lara bent over and tried ot get her breath back. Her door then opened again..
She looked towards her bedroom door and Jack came in
"I already told you to fuck off!"Lara said pointing a gun at him
"lara its me!"
Gwen and owen then came in
She still had her gun at him
"Lara, its me, i promise.."He said with his hands up...
Lara then sat on her bed
"I nearly had a fucking heart attack"She said
"It got away didnt it.."Owen asked
"I shot him several times...i dont understand why it didnt die.."

"Doctor.." Katie sits next to him.
"What.." He says reading his magazine.
"Put the fucking magazine down youve been reading it for the past 5 hours!" She knocks it his hand.
The Doctor removes his glasses "You know..your looking very nice.." He smiles.
Katie looks at him in a funny way.
"Tell you what..go into the bedroom, ill be there in a sec" He says.
"Woo" Katie walks off into the bedroom. The Doctor shuts the door and locks it.
"Oi!! Doctor!!" She bangs on the door "Let me out!!"
The Doctor smiles to himself, picks his magazine up and sits down putting his feet up.

"This thing cant be killed by a bullet..we need something stronger, alot stronger.." Jack says.
"But what.." Owen says.
Jack sits there thinking.. "Right team, all go to the lab we are going to kill this thing, were going to build the ultimate weapon and believe me..this thing will die.." Jack says.
Everyone walks off.
"Im sorry.." Jack says to Lara.
"Its alright..just gunna have to cope with it till something happens.."
"Were going to work are hardest to destroy this thing..we have to. Your best coming with us, we cant take the risk of leaving you on your own"
"Why dont I go see Kate and The Doctor"
He scratches his head "Ye..that would probably be best, the tardis is protected so nothing can get you, ill ring you and let you know when weve come up with something" He kisses her on her forehead.
Lara smiles and teleports to the tardis. Jack teleports to the lab.

"Right team..lets do this.." He says.

Lara walks in the tardis. She looks at The Doctor just sitting there reading his magazine.
"Wheres Kate?" Lara says.
"In the bedroom"
"Why?"
"Oh..no reason so Lara how are you" The Doctor smiles putting the magazine down.
"Fine.."
Katie then kicks the door down.
"You are a fucking pig!!" Katie shouts storming over to The Doctor.
The Doctor looks down and sniggers.
Katie shakes her head and looks down at Lara. "Your pregnant!!"
"No-"
"Lara's pregnant woooo!!!" Katie shouts.
"No!!" She shouts "Im not..if you must know ive got an alien inside me.." Lara says.
"Oo.."
"No not oo..im gunna die if torchwood dont get a weapon to destroy it in time.."
"Oh.."
"Well your safe here..the tardis is protected so nothing can get in.." The Doctor says.
"Ye thats why I came here"
"Oh thanks.." Katie rolls her eyes

"This isnt workin!!" Jack slams a piece of metal down.
But they needed to be fast..at this precise moment the shape shifter was trying to break down the tardis' shields..

"So youve got an alien..in your stomach?" Katie says.
"Yes for god sake!!"
"And your not scared?"
"A bit.."
"You'll be alright here Lara..no one can get you" The Doctor says.
"Hmm.."

They sat down having a chat about things..Lara didnt come across as scared but she was..you could tell, she couldnt concentrate on anything..
They all then looked at the door as they heared a bang.
"What was that.." Kate says.
"Probably just the wind.." The Doctor says
"That was a proper bang Doctor.." Kate says.
"Just..leave it" Lara says.

"Weve got it!! Owen insert that into there.."
Owen inserts some sort of cartridge into the gun, it was full of orange liquid.
"This will do it..now lets get this thing" Jack loads it.

They both sit there..they knew something was going to happen, then suddenly the tardis door bursts open. They all stand up and look, they just stand there..frozen. A huge monster is stood there, long claws, red eyes looking straight at Lara.
"Lara dont move.." The Doctor says.
"Do you think im that stupid.." She says.
"Ye.." Kate says.
"Shut up.."
"This ones male.." The Doctor says.
"So wheres the famale?" Lara aasks.
"I dont know.."
The monster then starts to run at Lara. Lara closes her eyes.
Katie looks at her then thinks..she dives in front of lara. Katie drops to the floor as the monster dives at her.
Jack and his team burst through the door and shoot the monster, the female appeares behind them and Jack takes an aim at her...both disintegrate into the air.
"Kate!" The Doctor runs over to her.
Lara looks down at her bump..it had gone, she then realised what Kate had just done for her..
She looked at Kate lien on the floor.. "Oh my god.."
"Kate wake up! Come on wake up!" The Doctor shakes her.
Lara struggles to her feet. Jack walks up to her and hugs her "You ok?"
"Ye..is she.."
"We dont know..its not looking good though.." Jack says looking down at her.
"I cant believe it.."

Kate then stands up, just..normally.
"Kate?"
"I-I..cant breath.." She says standing there.
"What you doing.." Jack says.
"Im..burning.." Her eyes then turn yellow.
"Doctor whats she doing!!" Jack shouts.
"Shes..reginerating.." The Doctor looks at her, he rushes over to her and holds her "Come on Kate.."
Everyone watches her. She then lets out a burst of orange light. They all watch in amazement as she turns into a different person.
She changes and drops to the floor, The Doctor picks her up.
"Wow.." Jack looks at her.
Lara stares at Jack.
"Sorry.." He coughs.
Kate opens her eyes "Hey.." The Doctor smiles.
"Hey.." She smiles.
"You look..."
"Oh god.." Kate says "Get me a mirror"
Lara hands her a mirror.
"Oh..my god..look at the size of my boobs! I aint really changed that much have I?"
Jack stares..
"Jack!!" Lara hits his shoulder.
"What!"

A little while later all the torchwood team went off, they were given the rest of the day off.
"This feels so weird.." Kate says looking in the mirror in the bathroom.
"Bet The Doctors happy" Lara laughs.
"Ye.."
"Thanks.."
"For what?"
"You saved my life.."
"Ye well..I needed a new body" Kate laughs
"Whateve..your a softie deep down"
"Shut up"

"Lara! Were going!" Jack shouts.
"Ok!"
"See you tomorrow then" Kate says.
"Ye..see ya" Lara walks out.

"Eh get in there" Jack winks at The Doctor.
"Jack.." The Doctor shakes his head
"Im only joking.." Jack raps his arm around Lara "See ya later doc" They walk out the tardis.

Kate walks out the bathroom to The Doctor
"Whats different about me?" Katie asks.
"Well..youve got brown eyes this time.."
"Doctor I mean physical features"
"Well nothing really apart from the.."
"The what?"
"The.."
"The fucking boobs Doctor you can say it"
"No I wasnt gunna sayt that!"
"Shut up, so I look ok?"
"You look..great" He smiles.
"Good..oh im bored.." Katie callapses on the sofa.
The Doctor just wanted to take her to bed right now..
"We could always go bed?" He raises an eyebrow.
"Hmm..ye..sleeps good" She stands up
Maybe she wasnt as sex crazed as she was?
The Doctor stands up and snogs her furisosly. Kate pulls away.
"What was that in aid of!"
"This" He lifts her up.
She screams and screams, he puts her down.
"What" The Doctor says.
"You cant do this!"
"Why.."
"Im a lezbian" Kate says looking at him.
The Doctor freezes.
"Ha! Your face" Katie bursts out laughing "Ohh god, come here big boy" Katie pulls him on top of her.
"Your evil.." He says.
"I know" She smiles.

OOo er..

Lara goes back to Torchwood and sits down at her desk. She thought about being pregnant and didnt know whether to have it or not. She was still young, a new time agent and wasnt married and just in a casual relationship with Jack. She couldnt bring a child into something like that. SHe sighed and rested her head on the table

"Whats up?"Ianto said walking over
"Nothing, you wouldnt understand"
"Im quite smart you know, go on try me"
"Its lady problems"Lara said looking up at him
"Oh..Well..again i might be able to help"He said sitting on her desk
She sat up
"Well..its like this."She paused "Im pregnant"
"Oh..ok...are you sure?"
"Yes im sure, and Jack wants to keep it, and i dont cause im still new here and im not married"
"Well, have you tried talking to Jack?"
"No"
"Dont you think you should?"
"I dont know"She said resting on the table again
"Well you're the one carrying it Lara, its your choice."Ianto said
"I guess"
"Do you want a drink?"
"No im alright thanks"
He then got up and walked off

Lara rested her head on the desk and thought for most of the day

"BURP!"
"Katie i wish you would stop doing that"The Doctor said
"Its funny, it echos everywhere"
"No its not cause i get to hear you stomach noises and its not very nice"
"Im bored, wheres Lara?"
"At work"
"Wheres Jack"
"Having his hair done"
"Argh!"


Just as Lara got up Jack teleported in front of her
"You like?"He smiled
His hair was a bit shorter and more spikeyer
"Yeah it great"She smiled
"So hows you and our baby?"
"Fine..Jack can you sit down a moment?"Lara asked
"Sure"
"About this baby..i dont think we should have it"
Jacks smile then turned into a frown
"I know you wanted it so much, but we arent aproper couple Jack. We're just casual boyfriend and girlfriend who shag alot. And im new to this job and i want to do the best. Im not ready for a family yet"

Jack just focused on something at Laras desk. He was devestated
Lara then sat on her chair
"Do you understand Jack? We cant bring a life into this enviroment, not yet anyway"She said reaching for his hand
He then moved it away
"Jack.."
He then got up and went to leave
"Jack please understand me"
He paused
"I want that paper work done pronto"He said
He then walked out
Lara then kicked her filing cabenet which left a huge dent in it

Katie then put her coat on
"Where you going?"The Doctor asked
"To see Lara and poke her stomach"
"Thats nice"He said eating a bananananananana lol
She then teleported off


"Hiya Lara"Katie said "OO what happened to the cabenet?"She said sitting down
"I kicked it"
"That wasnt clever, hows Jack?"
"Go see for yourself"Lara said loking out of her window watching him
Katie got up and stared at Jack.
He was ordering the team to work harder and faster.

"Jack im doing as much as i can"Tosh said
"We need the co-ordinates of where that alien is heading"
"Im trying"Tosh said
"Did you do a post-mortem on that body?"Jack asked owen
"No"
"Why not?"He said squaring up to him
"I told you i couldnt get hold of the body, as soon as we arrived the police took it"Owen said
"Dont argue with me"Jack said gritting his teeth
"Thats it, im going home"Tosh said getting her coat "I cant take this"

"God hes angry, whats wrong?"Katie asked
"I told him i didnt want this kid"
"Why not?"
"Its not right"
"Well he should respect your decision"Katie said
"I know, hes just being selfish, i have to give birth to the bloody thing"Lara sighed
Do you want me to talk to him?"
"Dont waste your time"

He then walked up to Lara office
"What are you doing here?"Jack asked Katie
"Just seing how Lara is"
"You know you're tresspassing"
"Jack you know me"
"Torchwood is confidental, anyone not working for torchwood isnt allowed in here"Jack said
"Jack stop being stupid!"Katie said
"Leave now!"
Katie then teleported off in tears
"Why have you got to be so fucking selfish!"Lara asked
"Its your fault why im so angry!"Jack shouted back
"This is my body Jack! Not yours! You dont have to give birth to it! I do. Im only 23 and youre not even my proper boyfriend!"
"I thought you wanted this kid! If you didnt, why didnt you take the pill or something!"
"Cause i dont have the fucking time!"
"Well stop opening your legs then!"

Lara then smacked him right in the mouth. She then paused
"Im sorry but you made me do that!"
She then had a shooting pain in her stomach
"Ah shit"She said bending over holding her stomach
Jack just held onto his face. She smacked hard.
"Jack, my stomach.."She said falling to the floor.
Blood then started pouring down from her trousers
"Shit"Jack said

He then took Lara to the hospital.
"Someone help me please"Jack said carrying her
The Doctor then phoned Jack
"Jack whats your prob-"
"Laras having a miscarriage"Jack said
"Oh my..we will be down there in a minute"The Doctor said

A doctor came along with a bed
"Put her on this"He said
Jack placed Lara on the bed
"We need to examin her straight away.."


Later
"Hes in here somewhere"The Doctor said
"Is she gunna be ok?" Katie says.
A Doctor then walks up to them..

So the miscarriage happened..it was a very sad moment for everyone especially Lara and Jack.
Katie was stood messing with some machine. The Doctor walks over to her "Dont mess with that.." He says.
"What else do you want me to do..nothing else to do in this damn hospitals..I hate hospitals..so depressing and never have food.." She says looking down.

Jack and Lara were sat on the hospital bed, the doctor was just about to dismiss them (the hospital doctor haha)
"Sorry.." Jack says "Im so sorry.." He holds her close.
Lara just looks in front of her.

"Should I go talk to her?" Katie says.
"Your probably best leaving them too it, come on..lets go home and we'll call them first thing in morning ye?"

The Doctor tells Jack that there leaving, he nods and focuses back onto Lara.

"Funny..how you take these things for granted, babys..I was so messed up..thinking I wanted to get rid of it..and it just happens and its like painful.."

Both couples went straight to sleep that night, all shocked..

Katie was in the kitchen making some toast when The Doctor comes up behind her "Morning.." He smiles kissing her neck.
"Morning..want some toast?"

"Me! Never.." He smirks walking in the bathroom.
"Hmm..just check on Lara.." She dials her number.

"Hello?"
"Its Kate..you alright?"
"Im alright ye, just woke up actaully"
"You want me to pop round later?"
"Ye go on then, Jack's nipping out for a bit so come round about seven?"
"Katie!!" The Doctor shouts from the bathroom.
"Ye thats fine.." Katie smiles to herself "See ya then" She hangs up.
Katie sits on the sofa and stares at the cieling.
"Kate!!"
"What!"
"Get me a towel"
"No, you just want me to go in there so you can have your way with me"
"I dont! I need a towel" He says.
"God sake" She stands up and gets a towel from the pile, she walks towards the bathroom. The Doctor pulls her in.
"Oh my god Doctor!" She shouts.

But what the Doctor and Kate didnt know is that they had company..down deep in the tardis' main controls was a dark mist..a dark shadow..around them.

Katie rests against him "Yano when I shag you.."

Later on..
Jack and The Doctor walks into the tardis and look at Lara sitting next to Kate on the sofa..it was quite.
"Lara.." Jack sits next to her "You alright"
"Ill leave you two to it.." Kate says, she walks to the bedroom, The Doctor follows her.

"Is Lara ok?" The Doctor sits on the edge of the bed.
"Ye.."
"Well why did she want Jack"
"She's pregnant" Kate says.
"Laras pregnant?"
"Erm ye"
"Well I always thought she was the careful one it was you that always made the mis-" Katie stops him.

"Lara..talk to me..are you ill?"
"Can we go for a walk.." She says quitely. She was so scared what he would say, he just didnt seem that type that would want to commit so easily.
"Sure..probably a good idea, them two will be banging away soon" Jack laughs.
Laura smiles slightly and they walk out the tardis.

Katie and The Doctor just lie in the bed.
"Kate.."
"What?"
He looks at her "Nothing.."

Kate was fast asleep but The Doctor was already up, he opened the door for Jack and Lara as they walked in.
"Smug grin there Jack" The Doctor says.

"Well we had that little thing before didnt we, we wernt ready sort of thing..I dunno, just think shes not ready, she needs to mature a bit, i mean she cant have a kid when shes going partying and what not I would but she just needs to mature a bit shes too immature yet.."
Katie then bursts in

"Kate!" The Doctor turns around.

The Doctor looks at her and lifts her head up.

"Dont you realise what you've done?! By using the watch to change you back, and not dying cause of the bullet wounds, you've cause a massive time slip somewhere in the world were any alien can come through! And cause you didnt die thats gonna make it worse! You've abosrbed the time vortex of the watch into you're body so you cant die!" He said walking around
"I know Jack but he was gonna kill me cause Katie wasnt there!"She shouted

They paused at stared at each other with hate. Lara then pused jack onto his desk and straddled him. He sat up and started undressing her whilst kissing her.

Meanwhile..

A time rip started to create itself in a carpark somewhere. A passer by stopped to look at it..
"Hello?"The Gentleman said walking towards it..

He looked closer and saw different shades of light in front of him..
Then a sketal hand with black fog around it reached out to his neck and instantly killed him..



Back at the Hub
Tosh and Owen were looking at the screens looking for alien activity..
The screen started bleeping
"Whats that?"Owen asked
"High alien activity in cardiff carpark.."Tosh said typing away "Tell Jack, this is serious"

Owen then walked up to Jacks office and saw Jack and Lara both naked on his desk, with Lara ontop
"Er..."
Jack looked up
"Oh hi owen.."He smiled "We were..."
"Jack theres high alien acitivty in the car park, its dangerous"Owen said
"Ok, be down in a minute"Jack said

"So what's up" Jack walks in where the team were all sitting down.
"Where's Lara?" Gwen asks.

Owen looks at him
"Right can someone please tell me whats going on!" Jack demands
"Right, there have been numerous reports of people going missing in the car park north of here. I presume there are plenty of witnesses but are too afraid to come forward. We should send the team to go down and investigate before any more deaths occur" Gwen says.
"Right..gwen, you come with me and Lara down to investiagate it. Everyone else try and track where the alien activity is coming from"
Lara then walks in. "Jack can I have a word.." She looks at him.
"Sure..right everyone make your way to your positions and Gwen ill meet you up there" Everyone walks off out of the room, leaving JAck and Lara.
"You alright?"
"I dont feel too good..I mean, sick, dizzy.."
"Are you ok?"
"I dont know, ill be fine..lets go"
"No, if your not feeling good stay out of this one.."
"No im fine"
"Your not Lara, look ill be as quick as I can with this investigation and ill come straight back"
"Jack..im fine"
"Lara..your not, go see Katie, think ill need The Doctor for this one..go rest anyway, you look knackered" Jack says.

"Yes, now go on, go rest, if you need me jsut ring me ok?" He pecks her on the cheek.

The Doctor lies there thinking "Right ive decided" He says.
"What?" Katie looks at him
"You defintly are a very bad example towards me" He laughs

"How could I when you were dancing in your underwear right in front of me" He raises an eyebrow.
The Door then went.
"Ill get it" Katie walks towards the door and opens it.

"Kate! Put some fucking clothes on" Lara says.

"Only your fucking underwear and by the way Doctor your needed by Jack" Lara says walking in. She then stops

"Right the alien atctivity is coming from around here somewhere but..nothing seems to be showin in the area.." Gwen says.

The Doctor wonders off to another area of the car park and kneels down. He looks at a green gooey substance on the floor. "Jack over here!"
Jack rushes over "What"
The Doctor puts some on his finger and shows him.
"Right..gwen get a sample of this and send it back to the lab.."
"Will do.." Gwen rushes over.

"Lara"
"What!" She snaps.
"Serously I think you should get a test..your snapping for no reason and everything"
"Im not pregnant!"
"Im phoning Jack" Kate says.

"Why, youre not pregnant so you dont ahve anything to worry about" Kate smiles.

Lara doesnt say anything.
"I dont know what to do Kate..whats Jack gunna say.."
"How long have you known?"
"Couple of days.."

"Ye well.."
"You need to tell Jack, ill phone him.."

"Well..all weve got is this green goo.." Gwen says "Theres no other evidence of anything.."
"Ye, weve been here for a bit, we'll come back tomorrow its been a long day" Jack says. He then flips up his phone.

"Hello?"
"Jack its Kate come to the tardis please"
"Why whats the matter? Is Lara ok?"
"Well, ye shes..ok but theres something we need to talk to you about and tell The Doctor come home I want some sexy time"
"Erm..ok, ill be down as fast as I can" He puts the phone down.
"Doctor!" Jack shouts
