"I hope Jack's got through to him.." Kate says.
"He would of, even though Jack comes across as a bit of a heartless bastard he does have one deep down" Lara says "He's good with talking and that"
Katie looks down.
Jack walks in, Kate looks up and stands up "Did you get through to him? Is he ill?"
"No.."
"Well what then"
"You just need to talk to him Kate..its not my place to sort this out for you both, just go back to the tardis, sit down and talk to him.."
"What did he say.."
"Just go talk to him Kate, its not my place to say" Jack sits down next to Lara.
Kate sighs "Is he mad with me?"
"No..more himself"
"Best go and see him then..ill ring you in morning" Kate walks out.

"Whats up with him?" Lara asks.
"Its kids..he doesnt want another"
"Another?"
"Thats what I said..apperently hes got a kid from a past companion but he was so scared he jsut ran away from it all..to be honist I dont think thats going to go down to well with Kate"
"Fucking hell.."

Kate slowly walks into the tardis, she looks around, it felt empty..
"Doctor?"
She walked into the bedroom and looked at him lying on the bed, she sits on the edge of the bed.
"Sorry.." She says.
"What you saying sorry for?" He mumbles "Its my fault.."
"Whats your fault? Doctor I wish you would talk to me..I hate it when we fight you know I do"
He sits up and looks at her "No im genunly sorry.."
"What for?"
"Your not going to like it..but your my wife and I need to be honist with you"
Kate looks at him.
"I..I have a..child.." He looks down.
"What?"
"You heard.."
"You have a child? Who with! When!!"
"It was a long time ago! 13 years ago..with a past companion"
Kate walks around the room breathing in, she turns to look at him "You serious?"
"Im sorry.."
"Why didnt you tell me!"
"I-I..dont know"
"Well where is she? He?"
"She..is..I dont know, I was scared so I just fled..like the coward I am"
"This is why you dont want kids isnt it?"
"Well..ye"
"Right.." She sits next to him "We have spoke about this time and time again..im not bothered about having a kid! You know im not..I just want you"
"Your not angry?"
"Ye obvously about you lying to me! Course I am but..you need to understand that you can talk to me" She places her hand on his leg.
"What would I do without you Kate" He throws his arms around her.
"Well you wouldnt have as much sex for a start" She smiles, he smiles.
She looks at him "So..what you gunna do?"
"About what"
"Your kid Doctor! Arnt you going to try and contact or something!"
"I cant.."
"Why"
"I havnt seen the child for 13 years .. she wouldnt recognise me and because I havnt seen her for so long..im not allowed to see her, im not considered her dad"

In the morning..
The Doctor didnt sleep, he spent the whole night staring above him.
Kate opens her eyes and leans over, planting a soft kiss on his lips. "You havnt slept have you?"
He shakes his head "Anyway" He sits on the edge of the bed "Wanna go and see Jack and Lara?"
"What about..the baby"
"Look..I cant spend the whole of my life wondering and pondering..I have to move on, ye its not great but..ive been selfish..taking it out on you and its not far Kate..ive been silly about the whole thing and..last night I was thinking..if having a kid means so much to you..then we can make it happen"
"Doctor.."
"No Kate..I cant let this ruin your life"
"Its not just my life it would affect! Yours aswell"
The Doctor looks at her "Your the main person in my life..I want you to be happy.."
Kate smiles "Thanks but..I dont want kids yet.."
"Oh..thats fine"
"You dissapointed"
"No! Just thoguht you wanted them"
"Nah not yet, theres lots of lovely sex to go before then" Kate laughs.
"You saucy minx!"
"Ye but you love it" She winks.
"Cant deny that..anyway..come here you" He falls on top of her and kisses her.

Lara wakes up..on her own, she looks around.
She gets up and walks into the living room to Jack sitting on the arm chair with Kim
Lara stands there and smiles "How long you been up"
"Oh hey..couple of hours" He smiles down at the baby.
"You should of woke me up" Lara sits next to him and plays with Kims fingers.
"Right..ive got a meetin at Torchwood at 12..will you be alright on your own for a few hours"
"Ye..ill be fine, ill go take Kim to the tardis for a bit"
"Right well..Im just gunna get a shower and get changed"
Lara sighs
"What?"He said standing up, topless with the baby (mmmm)
"Well i would join you but i'd only given birth a few days ago"
"And?"He says walking up to her
"You're not suppose to do it until after a week"

"Anal sex it is then"He said walking into the bedroom with Kim

Jack placed the baby in the cot and smiled at her
Lara leaned over the cot.

There then was a knock at the door
Jack stopped
"Oh thank god"Lara breathed in deeply
"Wonder who that is"Jack said walking up to the door.
He opened it and saw the doctor stood there

"Why do you always have that when i come round?"The Doctor said walking in
Kate then followed him
"Jack! Put that thing away"Katie sniggered
"Hows motherhood?"The Doctor asked Lara
"Its fine, shes quite a sleeper"
"Wait til shes a year old"Jack said "Then she wont be so sleepy"
"Can i have a look?"Katie asked
"Sure you can"Jack said taking him trousers off in front of everyone
"Jack for godsake stop it!"Lara said pushing him into the shower

"Fancy joining me Doc?"Jack asked
"No im fine"He said reading 'the joy of sex' book
"Come on...i know you want to"He smiled
"No jack, honestly its fine, you go and have your shower"

Katie picked up Kimberly
"Hello you"She said rocking her
"Dont murder the baby"Lara said walking in
"I wont"

"Aww this baby is gunna grow up to be just like me..dont you think" Kate looks at The Doctor.
"Mm.." He murmers reading his bible.
"Oh my god!! I gave you that other book to read instead of that!"
"Well..that was ridicolous..I knew everything that was already in there"
"No you didnt, first time we did it you didnt even know if you had it up or not"

Lara and Jack then walk in "Right were going out for a drink and that..can you babysit?" Lara says fixing her top.
"Oh my god..YES!" Kate says.
"Alright calm down.." She says.
The Doctor rolls his eyes.

So Jack and Lara go out and its just The Doctor and Kate and Kim in the house.
"This..is a penis..you get joy out of this..alot of it" Kate points out to a diagram in a book.
Kim giggles.
"Kate!!" The Doctor shouts.

"What are you doing!"
"Teaching Kim sex education what does it look like"
"Shes like..a few days old!"
"So..the earlier the better"
The Doctor stands up and takes the book of her.
"Doctor!"
"I dont care, your not teaching the baby that at that age!"
"I got learnt it at that age"
"I can tell.." He mutters sitting back on the chair.

The baby yawns, Kate yawns.
"Right im gunna get her off to sleep" She carrys her into the bedroom

"Will you stop feeling me up in the middle of a club!" Lara says to Jack.
"Lets go to the toilets then" He winks.
"Jack..fuck off" She downs her drink.
"Come on"
"Jack stop it! Your going over the top now"
"Im not!"
"You are! Just leave me alone for 5 minutes will ya!"
He rolls his eyes and faces the bar.
Lara then collapses onto the floor after finishing her drink.


"Mm..hang on" Kate breaks the kiss and stands up.
"Where you going" He looks up.
"For a drink"
The Doctor sighs.
"Does she have any like beer" She then looks in the fridge and pulls out a bottle of vodka, she walks into the living room holding it up.
"Woo"
"Your such an alcoholic" He shifts as Kate slides into his arms.
"Im not!"
"Your are!"
"Shut it bible basher" She downs a bit of the vodka and offers it the Doctor, he pulls a face and moves it away.

Lara woke up on a bench outside, Jack was sat next to her with a barman offering her water.
"What happened" She says.
"You callopsed..you alright?" Jack says.
"Fine.." She drinks the water.
"What happened?" Jack asks "You just callopsed"
"I dont know do I"
He thinks "Has anyone had your drink.."
Lara looks at him.
"You think its me dont you"
"No, why would I think that"
"Why would I do that Lara!"
"I dont know! The way you were going on about sex I dont know what the fuck happened do I"
"Lara I cant believe your suggesting this I never touched your drink you know that!"
"Oh im going home" She walks off.
"Lara!"

Kate fell asleep on the sofa, The Doctor was seeing to Kim.
"Not so bad are you.." He smiles playing with her fingers.

Kate then opens her eyes as the door swings open. Lara bursts through the door.
"Whats up with you?"
"Nothing..wheres Kim?"
"Erm..probably in there with The Doctor" Kate sits up.
Jack then comes in "Lara!"
"Will someone tell me what the hells going on!" Kate shouts.
The Doctor just gets the baby to sleep and puts it in the cot. Lara then walks in.
"Shh..just got her to sleep" He whispers.
"Thanks.." Lara says and walks out with The Doctor.
"Lara will you listen to me!" Jack shouts.
"Will you shut up the babys asleep!" The Doctor says.
"Lara come in here with me" Kate drags her into the bedroom.

"Whats going on"
"I dont know! Ask Jack"
"Why?"
"Well we were in the club and we had a few drinks..maybe more but Jack was going on and on about fucking sex and it was pissing me off, I dont know what got into him but then next thing i knew I was sat on a bench"
"Erm ok?"
"Another words someone spiked my drink Lara"
"Well who?" Kate looks at her "Not Jack.."
"Well he was the only one who had my drink"
"Dont be daft.."
"Im not being daft Kate! Serously he was in one of them moods"
"He wouldnt do that Lara..he wouldnt risk everything he has with you" "Anyway..how do you know you got spiked? You could of just fainted..your blowing this way out of proportion a bit Lara"
"You swallowed a dictionary or something?" Lara laughs.
Kate laughs "Listen..you know Jack didnt do it, you just want someone to blame and ye Jack might of been a prick that night but he wouldnt do that"
"Ye but if you were with The Doctor you would think the same"
"He wouldnt..too much of a shit bag"

"No go on, talk to Jack.."
"You never talk to The Doctor"
"Ye but..we lack communication, it isnt our strong point in our relationship I must say" Kate says.
"Alright then..ill talk to Jack if you communicate with The Doctor when you get back"
"Deal.."

"Jack I know you wouldnt do that..after youve had a baby you probably feel like a little light headed anyway..that could be the reason" The Doctor says. Lara then walks in with Kate.
"Sorry.." Lara says.
Kate nudges the doctor "Lets go" She says.

Back at the tardis..
Kate sits down at the table, The Doctor takes off his coat and sits down on the sofa.
"No not there here" Kate says.
"Why?"
"Because..we are gonna comunicate" She says (cant even spell that word haha)
"Oh kate..another time" He sighs.
"No! Lara said taht we dont communcate enough"
"We do!"
"Ye if you call oh kate oh Doctor communicating"
"Well its enough for me.." He says.
"SIT NOW!!" She shouts.
"Ok ok.." he pulls out a chair and sits.
"Right..how are you"
He stares at her and bursts out laughing.
She shots him a stare.
"Sorry..im fine" He smirks.
"Ahem.."
"What"
"Ask me how I am!!"
"Oh how are you?"
"Im fine.." She smiles.
He laughs "Can we communicate in the bedroom or something this is going nowhere" He smiles.
"No!"
He sighs and puts his head on the table. It was gunna be a long night.
